Special Adaptive Housing Grant
At Community Renovations, our fundamental aim is to make certain that those who are handicapped will be able to pass through their residences with ease and enjoy every aspect of their home life without difficulty. The nature of this mission telegraphs our support of those with disabilities of all kinds, certainly including those sustained in the line of duty. For this reason, we have thrown our support behind U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs’ Specially Adapted Housing (or SAH) grant, which was created to help wheelchair–bound or other devastatingly disabled former military personnel gather the funds necessary to install tools within their homes to help assist them in dealing with their ailment, including wheelchair ramps and other similar items. Those who are given aid may receive up to $63,780 depending on the reality of their situation. Community Renovations will in turn use the funds gathered by this grant to provide veterans with the help they need and deserve.
